Q. How do I sign up?
A. It’s easy! There is no fee for joining the Give2Network and it only takes
a minute. You simply
download the toolbar
or make your group’s Give2Network search page

Link the tool bar to your organization and use it to search and shop online as you
normally do. Give2Network tracks your clicks and purchases and proceeds are
automatically routed to your chosen group!

A: As leaders and participants in many community and school organizations, the Give
2 Network founders experience first-hand the challenges small groups face in
raising money and communicating and running their organizations. We felt that there
was no existing resource for groups to easily stay connected and fundraise online
– thus Give2Network was born. Not everyone can make financial contributions
or volunteer their time to fundraise with traditional methods such as bakes sales,
car washes and writing sponsorship letters. It’s our hope that Give2Network
will empower groups to maximize their fundraising efforts by allowing them to give
back by doing what they do every day – searching and shopping online.
A. Give2Network sets itself apart in several ways. Unlike traditional fundraisers,
you can raise money WITHOUT doing anything you wouldn't otherwise be doing! No buying
cookie dough or selling magazines or doing jog-a-thons!
With our convenient toolbar,
after the one-time setup, you will stay connected with your group with scrolling
announcements and raise money while you browse and shop the web. Unlike similar
programs, you won't have to sign in each time you search or shop and we make it
a point to give more revenue back to your group.
A: Every click helps! Each search, click and piece of merchandise purchased through
your group’s tool bar generates anywhere from a couple cents to several dollars.
Groups can easily raise hundreds and thousands of dollars each year. The more people
you get to use your group’s tool bar, the more money your group collects. The sky
is the limit!
Your group’s earnings will vary depending
on how often your members search and shop on the toolbar. Using an average
of 2 searches per day and assuming minimal online purchases, here’s an estimate
of how much your group could receive:

A. Everyone! Give2Network is free and easy to use. Please tell all your friends
and family about it - they can all help to support your group, just by doing what
they normally do. Another great thing about the program is that geography is no
longer an issue – so you can get friends to use the toolbar even if you can’t get
them to buy cookies from you!
A. Yes. You can use your group’s customized Give2Network homepage, just as
you would use Yahoo.com, EXCEPT this homepage will raise money for your group when
you search!

A: Give2Network will send each active group a check twice a year (at the end of January and July) providing the organization has accrued $20 or more.

Technical FAQs
A. 1. On our homepage,
http://www.give2network.com, click on the ‘Download the
Toolbar’ link.
2. A pop-up window asking if you would like to run or save this file should appear.
Click Run.
3. On the next window it will ask you to choose a location to install, it is recommended
to install
the toolbar in the suggested folder. When you’ve chosen a desired folder
click Install.
4. Once the setup is complete it will say completed above the green bars.
5. You can now close the installation window.
6. A new browser will automatically open and you will see the Give2Network
toolbar at the
top of the browser.
7. Follow the steps on this new browser in order to register an organization to
your toolbar.
A. If you successfully installed the toolbar and it is still not appearing; click
on the ‘View’ button on the top of Internet Explorer and select the toolbar option,
and make sure that ‘Give2Network Toolbar’ is checked. If it is not you can
try to reinstall the toolbar, if it is still not visible please contact our technical
support at
support@give2network.com.
Q. How do I uninstall the toolbar?
A. There are two ways to uninstall the toolbar. 1) You can open the options
menu on the toolbar and select ‘Uninstall’; the options menu can be found by clicking
on the small icon represented by two gears located on the right-hand side of the
toolbar, 2) Or you can remove it from Add/Remove Programs in your computer’s control
panel.
Q. I want to support a different organization, how can I update my toolbar?
A. If you would like to change the organization your toolbar is registered to, please
visit this

and follow the process to re-register the toolbar to a new organization of your
choice.
Q. I already downloaded the toolbar, but haven't selected a group. How can I
choose a group to support?
A. If you downloaded the toolbar but failed to register your toolbar at the pages
preceding the toolbar install, then please visit

in order to register an organization to your toolbar.
Q. I uploaded my image for the toolbar, but it's not there. What do I do?!
A. First make sure that your image follows the criteria presented on the ‘Toolbar
Configuration’ page. If you are sure it meets that criteria then try to upload it
again. If it continues to fail, please contact technical support and they will be
able to manually upload your image.
Q. Can I use the toolbar for any browser?
A. Currently our toolbar is only supported using Internet Explorer and FireFox 2.0 (or newer).
Search FAQs
A. At the bottom of the search results you’ll find two links. By following the first
link you will to let us know about who you are interested in supporting and add
the group’s name to our database. We can then contact your group to tell them about
Give2Network and your willingness to support their cause. Once you’ve let
us know about your group and registered you toolbar, you will automatically be earning
money. The second link gives you the option to register your desired group and become
their coordinator.
A. Of course! We give our users several different options on how to find their group.
If you don’t know your group’s ID number you can search by their name and/or location.
The exact and complete name is not needed, just one keyword and location should
be sufficient enough to find it. Also remember if you cannot find your group’s name
please feel free to send us a lead (link at the bottom of the results page) so we
can help your group earn money.
Sign up sheet FAQs
A: With a preset signup sheet event planners are able to make a list of items or events that need to
be filled by their supporters. This gives event planners the ability to plan exactly what needs to be
brought or spots that need to be filled for their upcoming events. A blank signup sheet gives more flexibility
to supporters to fill in the items or event they wish to bring or participate in.
When adding items to the list please be sure you are clicking on the “ADD” button to the left of the box.
Without clicking the “ADD” button it will not save it onto the signup sheet which maybe the reason to why it
does not show on your final sheet. If you are still having problems please contact our support team
at
support@give2network.com.
A: Coordinators completely oversee a group’s account with Give2Network. They not only have
access to updating a group’s toolbar but also to create and edit all group events and signup sheets.
On the other hand, event coordinators are only able to create and edit their own events for the group.
A: In order to make changes to items or events please contact your event planner.
Event planners are the only ones able to make changes to an event. However, in the future
participants will be able to edit their own entries to an event.
